Photography exhibition: THE SPACE BETWEEN US – BLYTH TO GOTHENBURG

THE SPACE BETWEEN US - BLYTH TO GOTHENBURG

Are you a Northumberland based photographer or part of a photography club?

Would you like your photography to be exhibited in a street art gallery as part of the Tall Ships Regatta Celebrations?

Northumberland County Council, Active Northumberland, Culture Creative and Headway Arts are working together in partnership on this great initiative to give Northumberland based photographers the chance to exhibit their work on a grand scale along the beach road in Blyth.

100 Photos will be printed on a large 8′ by 4′ boards and will transform fencing along Wensleydale Terrace in Blyth into a beautiful street gallery to be viewed along this main route by thousands of people enjoying the event.

The theme of the exhibition is ‘The space between us – Blyth to Gothenburg’. Exhibition curator Allie Walton-Robson Creative Director at Headway Arts will be looking for work which interprets this in an imaginative way, this could be anything from wonderful landscapes that have already been captured to figurative work made specially for the exhibition – it is open to artistic interpretation.
