Releasing Potential

Free arts course starting November 2018

Headway Arts is currently looking for adults to take part in a free arts project every Tuesday until January at our premises in Blyth.

The course is open to people aged 19 or over who are economically inactive and have a disability, learning difficulty, autism or are recovering from a long term health condition.

Participants will be part of a small friendly group and have the opportunity to gain an Entry Level NOCN qualification which will focus the project on preparing people for working in the community.

The course will be centred around a creative programme of events planning & management, using creative arts which provide and effective engagement route and excellent vehicle for developing confidence, self-esteem and key interpersonal skills for which Headway Arts has an impressive track record. The programme will involve 75 learning hours over the course of 11 weeks.
