Creative Cafe – To the moon and back

At 20:17:39 GMT on July 20th 1969, the Apollo 11 Lunar Module landed on the Moon. Join Headway Arts on Thursday 18th July 2019 at Headway ArtSpace, Blyth to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Moon landing with a workshop of lunar exploration – from the comfort of your chair!

‘That’s one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind’ – Neil Armstrong
‘Love you to the moon and back’ – Anon
‘You are the Moon of my life’ – Karl Drogo

Reach for the stars with artist Allie Walton-Robson who will share sayings and wonderful tales about the moon. Allie will then guide you through the process of creating your own inspirational quote wall plaque using collage, print technique and lettering. All the while listening to a playlist inspired by looking to the stars.
