Blyth Spartans Women

Blyth Spartans Women

On 18th May 1918 Blyth Spartans Ladies won the Munitionettes Cup 5-0 in front of 20,000 spectators at Ayresome Park, Middlesbrough. Sadly, that fantastic episode has been erased from history…until now!

To celebrate the Blyth victory 100 years ago a talk will take place
at Headway ArtSpace on Friday 18th May 2018.

2pm: Hear top North East playwright Ed Waugh
7.30pm: Ed will be joined by top actress Vik Kay

Entry is free and everyone is welcome.

Further information about the team and this event can be read on the Blyth Spartans Official Website.

Please let us know if you’re coming along.
