Blythfest

Blyth should be proud – it is a town with a huge array of artistic and cultural talent. In June/July each year we will bring it all together with a festival of music, drama, workshops and exhibitions.

Blythfest was initiated by 16 arts organisations, venues and individual artists in Blyth who wanted to bring something good to the people of Blyth, something they will remember and can continue year after year. We want to make local people proud of their town. We also want to get people from outside the area to see what a great place Blyth can be to visit, boosting the local economy by generating footfall and business.

We gratefully acknowledge the generous support of all our funders which recently includes:

  • Arts Council England
  • UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund
  • North East Combined Authority
  • Northumberland County Council

  • Community Foundation North East
  • Hadrian Trust
  • Rothley Trust
  • RW Mann
  • Ridley Family Charity
  • Blyth Town Council
