Headway Arts

One learning disabled artist from Headway Arts and one new visiting artist have worked together to explore and share their skills. Each pair has taken part in one of five short but intensive laboratories to co-create new shared work across a variety of art forms and equally explore each other’s processes, influences, culture and practice.

The artists presented their work for discussion at the CoCreART Symposium and Networking Lunch on Friday 26th July 2019. See the video below for highlights.

Commissions for Exchange Laboratories are part of Headway Arts’ dynamic CoCreART programme funded by Arts Council England through Grants for the Arts. CoCreART is an ambitious artistic programme which puts disabled and disadvantaged artists centre stage. Read more about this project here.
