Monkey’s Island

You never know what a storm will bring. The kids on the estate talk of monkeys, mermaids & mudlarks. The Mothers have more on their minds. Everybody has a story. Wartime spies, loving families, old hospitals, big challenges & fresh starts. And how did Cowpen Quay come about? Surely all Nana’s tales must be true…

Stories of lived experience & wild imagination from the fantastic Forget Me Not Residents Association woven into a magically real community play by multi-award winning Headway Arts. Join the cross generational cast in a gorgeous celebration of life in our home town – brilliant Blyth.
